This role executes diverse and complex assignments in support of GEHC product development, manufacturing, and repair. Working independently as well as part of a team dynamic, prepares goods for shipment; receives, unpacks, kits, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Requirements

  • Associates degree in Applied Sciences (or local equivalent 2 year degree), OR a High School diploma (or local equivalent) and 1 or more years warehouse or inventory control experience
  • Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with general direction and information
  • Ability to communicate using English
  • Demonstrated proficiency to utilize computerized work
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating with the current Microsoft Suite
  • Working knowledge of MRP, ERP, or similar Materials Ordering / Inventory Management programs
  • Experience working in an Oracle based system
  • Experience working in a ISO regulated Quality Management System

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another.
  • Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material from internal and external departments.
  • Replenish parts and material by stocking shelves in warehouse.
  • Delivering parts and material throughout Manufacturing site
  • Work with appropriate logistics and production personnel to resolve/prevent part shortages.
  • Perform cycle audits and physical inventory per schedule.
  • Help reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to Supervisor.
  • Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies
  • Read and follow work instructions.
  • Conduct minor material assembly and preparation functions to assist next level assembly operations.
  • Unpackage, process, and package final manufactured and repaired product following applicable Operation Method Sheets and Work Instructions
  • Use Lean tools to improve established processes and metrics in daily work, as well as participate in identified action workouts
  • Make acquired skills or knowledge available to others, train others on manufacturing processes
  • Maintain warehouse and dock area for cleanliness and organization.
  • Data entry on movement of parts.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
