Manufacturing Technician III
About The Position
WARN is seeking a technically skilled Manufacturing Technician III with extensive machining and manufacturing experience. This is a senior technical role on the production floor, focused on troubleshooting complex equipment and process issues, improving machining programs and production processes, and supporting the development of people and technical capability across the team. The role works in both shop and office environments. The technician will program and document processes at a computer and work directly with production teams and equipment on the floor. The position is onsite and follows a Monday-to-Friday day shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate degree in a technical field such as CNC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of manufacturing experience with strong machining and MCAM knowledge.
- Proficiency in MCAM programming and CNC operation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex troubleshooting and optimization to keep equipment and production running effectively.
- Design and refine MCAM programs to improve machining efficiency, consistency, and part quality.
- Create, refine, and validate setup sheets and production documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve processes and address production challenges.
- Help transition new products from development into production.
- Support selection, startup, and implementation of new capital equipment.
- Read and interpret advanced prints, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Use advanced inspection techniques to verify parts and ensure quality standards are met.
- Mentor junior technicians and share technical knowledge.
- Serve as a technical resource for complex manufacturing challenges.
