About The Position

Entegris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to join their Refurb team in Burnet. This role focuses on the high-quality, safety-focused disassembly, assembly, and troubleshooting of canisters, as well as improving manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. The shift schedule is a 3-2-2 on Night shift from 6pm-6am once fully trained and certified.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical and/or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
• Safety and Quality are key in this role.
• Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 51lbs daily.
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle highly hazardous material responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to attain respirator certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
• SAP and PLC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot containers in a hazardous chemical environment utilizing mechanical skills and a judicious safety focus.
• Follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures while seeking opportunities to continually improve work processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Leadership, Engineering, Quality, and the Safety team to achieve production goals that meet customer expectations.
• Demonstrate a high degree of accountability and integrity while achieving the best results possible.

• Demonstrate interest in continuing to learn and improve processes.
