About The Position

Entegris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for its Bedford, Massachusetts site, working with other members of the ESC Operations group. The role involves operating automated robots and production equipment, assembling parts according to established procedures, and running high-vacuum tools and hydraulic presses. The technician may be cross-trained and assigned to additional work areas to meet business demands. The position is on second shift, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekend work when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Able to work third shifts and overtime, including weekends, when needed.
• Able to work around chemicals, including IPA, acetone, FeCl, HCL, and FEP.
• Fluency in English is required for training purposes.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and stand for almost the entire shift.
• Ability to work in a clean room.
• Computer skills.
• Flexibility to be trained and cross-trained in other departments.

Nice To Haves

• Machine operation experience.
• Experience with SAP and CamLine.
• Able to train on first or second shift for three months.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety best practices and wear required personal protective equipment on the production floor.
• Operate automated robots, hydraulic presses, and other assigned production equipment.
• Perform operational checks and preventive maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition.
• Operate vacuum systems and other processing tools according to established procedures.
• Set up fixtures and defixture parts for vacuum and processing operations.
• Perform part assembly and wet etch processes as needed.
• Follow work instructions step-by-step with 100% adherence to maintain product quality.
• Inspect parts visually and with metrology tools in accordance with quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by following Entegris 6S standards.
• Execute tasks according to production priorities and adjust workflow as needed.
• Record work confirmations in SAP and enter inspection and production data in CamLine.
• Participate in shift pass-downs to communicate updates on safety, quality, and production priorities.
• Clean fixtures and parts as required to support production.
• Provide Engineering with feedback on potential process improvements.
• Demonstrate and promote Entegris PACE values in daily activities.
