About The Position

Entegris is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our Gas Operations team in Danbury, CT. In this role, you will be a key member of a specialized gas production team, supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor and working under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will help ensure production goals are met while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position does require working with hazardous materials and ability to safely wear PPE.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1- 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience processing and completing work orders per a production schedule.
  • Ability to safely operate hand/power tools, torque wrenches, and media blasters.
  • Ability to safely work with hazardous materials, using PPE.
  • Demonstrate a dedication to safety excellence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a quality mindset.
  • Experienced with SAP, Microsoft office.
  • Must be able to work on site full time.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of return cylinder refurbishment and processing.
  • Follow established work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Process and complete work orders per the production schedule, meeting or exceeding production demand.
  • Complete and submit required documentation accurately, thoroughly, and within designated timelines to meet regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational protocols when handling hazardous materials and testing equipment.
  • Support SCBA Activities.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas (5S).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Maintain reliability, accountability, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
