Position Summary The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the operation of manufacturing equipment, monitoring the production process, ensuring the production workflow runs efficiently, and performing quality checks on finished products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • 0+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Able to follow SOPs, GMPs, and Batch Records.
  • Able to follow directions and communicate information both written and verbally.
  • Able to use basic math calculations and operate a calculator.
  • Able to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
  • Works collaboratively in a positive team environment

Responsibilities

  • Support a full-cycle manufacturing process producing natural vitamins and supplements.
  • Operate production machinery to create a wide range of products such as tablets, capsules, gummies and powders.
  • Prepare machines for production by loading materials, adjusting settings and verifying that the machine has been set up correctly for specific product production.
  • Monitor production process for any issues, and effectively troubleshoots and adjusts practices when needed to aid in efficiency.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and other items as necessary.
  • Assemble/disassemble, and cleans all primary and auxiliary equipment and associated rooms to ensure they meet sterilization standards for production.
  • Reads, understands, and accurately fills out batch records and other paperwork as needed.
  • Quality check finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards in compliance with the FDA guidelines.
  • Completes all duties according to written SOPs and in compliance with cGMPs.
  • Performs other related duties as required
