About The Position

Supports manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. Works with engineering and production teams to perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventive maintenance activities that optimize manufacturing processes. Assists in the installation of new manufacturing equipment and manages the sourcing and procurement of replacement parts, tools, and maintenance supplies needed to support production objectives.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or an Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical school training, maintenance certification (e.g., industrial maintenance, electrical, HVAC), or vocational education
  • Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with maintenance inventory management, parts sourcing, vendor communication, and purchasing processes
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and follow through on commitments
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, equipment manuals, and schematics
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), work order systems, and inventory tracking software

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to minimize unplanned downtime
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyors, motors, pumps, compressors, and other industrial equipment
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests to restore production operations
  • Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability
  • Install, test, and commission new machinery and manufacturing equipment
  • Assist engineers with equipment set-up, calibration, and process optimization activities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance work orders
  • Ensure all necessary tools and resources are available for ongoing equipment maintenance and support
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
