About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B to work at our Orange, VA location. Our site near Culpeper, VA, in beautiful, rural Orange County (1.5 hours from Washington, DC) is growing! This site is our center of excellence for Solid Rocket Motor Propulsion and Energetics development as well as high-complexity production programs. The successful individual will perform functions such as fabrication of components, clean and assemble equipment, cleans tools, parts, and work area, operate machinery. Pressure tests, bonds, assembles, precision part clean, mix adhesives, torques fasteners, and all other duties and tasks required to assemble and prepare for shipment of products. Maintains records for manufactured products. Works safely while producing a high quality product and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Under general supervision, the Manufacturing Technician performs a wide range of duties within the manufacturing operations area. Applies specialized manufacturing knowledge to basic problems to come up with logical answers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
Ability to obtain US Security Clearance
