Manufacturing Technician B-Engineering Intern

L3HHCM20Bellmead, TX
Onsite

About The Position

The selected candidate will support the Waco Manufacturing Team by assisting in the analysis and design of production workflows, equipment layouts, and operational sequences. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, the intern will help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance resource utilization, and streamline processes across plant and production facilities. The intern will contribute to safety and operational improvement initiatives by assisting with the development of accident-prevention measures, updating training materials, and participating in reviews of standard production practices. This role will also involve supporting cost, schedule, and inventory studies by gathering data, organizing findings, and helping prepare reports used in decision-making. Based on these studies, the intern may help develop recommendations or draft proposals for facility modifications or updates to operating methods. In addition, the intern may collaborate with facilities engineers to support the planning and design of facility infrastructure improvements, including researching requirements, preparing layouts, and assisting with documentation efforts.
