About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician 1 performs a variety of tasks in support of probe card manufacturing operations. This entry-level role helps ensure high-quality production and process optimization in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The position works the night shift on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:15 a.m., with a 15% shift differential. Work is performed primarily in a clean-room manufacturing setting and requires following gowning and contamination-control procedures. The role may involve frequent standing, repetitive hand motions, and handling small or delicate components. Employees may work with chemicals, specialty tools, microscopes, or precision measurement equipment, and must follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE and clean-room attire for extended periods. The position requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Requirements

Less than 1 year of related experience.

Skills include algebra, cleanroom operations, communication, computer literacy, manual dexterity, mathematics, microscope use, Microsoft Office, self-reliance, statistics, technical problem-solving, and working independently.

Responsibilities

Execute manufacturing processes, including photolithography, thin film, etch, plating, assembly, test, and inspection.
Set up and calibrate equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
Collect and analyze operating data, make on-line equipment adjustments, and maintain process optimization.
Collaborate with engineering teams on tests and experiments to improve production processes or develop new products.
Assist in training and coaching other technicians, supporting teamwork, leadership, and technical skill development.
