About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician 1 performs a variety of tasks supporting probe card manufacturing operations. This entry-level role helps ensure high-quality production and process optimization in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Work is performed primarily in a clean-room manufacturing setting and requires compliance with gowning, contamination-control, and safety procedures. The regular schedule is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Requirements

• Less than one year of related experience.
• No formal occupational training is typically required.
• Skills in algebra, cleanroom operations, communication, computer literacy, manual dexterity, mathematics, microscope use, Microsoft Office, self-reliance, statistics, technical problem-solving, and working independently.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE and clean-room attire for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing processes including photolithography, thin film, etch, plating, assembly, test, and inspection.
• Set up and calibrate equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
• Collect and analyze operating data, make on-line equipment adjustments, and maintain process optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on tests and experiments to improve production processes or develop new products.
• Assist in training and coaching other technicians, supporting teamwork, leadership, and technical skill development.
