This position reports to: IPU Manager __ Responsible for developing and delivering hands-on technical training to manufacturing personnel to ensure safe, consistent, and efficient production practices. Partners with operations and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives by standardizing work, optimizing processes, analyzing performance data, and driving Lean and CI projects that improve quality, productivity, and employee capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technical or operational training to hourly or salaried employees
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, safety, and quality systems

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, or Six Sigma is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Trainer for all the lines and new Joiners as per ABB process & guidelines.
  • Support significant improvements with respect to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and/or cost targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with local leadership.
  • Consolidation of KE tracking and improvement plan updating.
  • A systematic fact-based approach to identify and evaluate opportunities for future improvement.
  • Support practical training by developing under guidance of leadership.
  • Support to prepare initiatives, projects, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate progress and value, enabling decision-makers to allocate resources and recognize success.
  • Support to implement MPH, KANBAN on all lines.
  • Support for setup activity for new and critical customer projects.
