About The Position

Florence Corporation, a leading manufacturer of quality mailboxes, is hiring Manufacturing Production Team Members for 1st and 2nd shifts. While manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience is helpful, hands-on training is provided. Team Members will perform various jobs to assemble, fabricate, and build components for multi-unit mailboxes. Requirements

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn new things.
  • Punctuality and good attendance.
  • Ability to stand, lift, walk and bend for up to 10 hours per shift.
  • Ability to work well with others in an hands-on physical work environment.
  • Ability to learn product specifications to ensure product quality.
  • Ability to learn and follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to learn new positions, become cross-trained, and rotate jobs.
  • The ability to understand quality requirements to ensure customer satisfaction of products.
  • Ability to maintain assembly line pace and work with a sense of urgency when needed.
  • Able to effectively operate drills, screw guns, rivet guns, wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, hammers, grinders, cut-off tool, electric power lifts, manual pallet jacks, tape dispensers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of jobs to assemble, fabricate and build components used to make multi-unit mailboxes.
  • Operate drills, screw guns, rivet guns, wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, hammers, grinders, cut-off tool, electric power lifts, manual pallet jacks, tape dispensers.
  • Learn product specifications to ensure product quality.
  • Learn and follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Learn new positions, become cross-trained, and rotate jobs.
  • Understand quality requirements to ensure customer satisfaction of products.
  • Maintain assembly line pace and work with a sense of urgency when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
