About The Position

BJ's Wholesale Club is looking for a Crossdock Forklift Operator to perform general warehouse activities. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of merchandise within the warehouse, from receiving to shipping. Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance, above 30lbs with assistance.
• Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise, dust
• When needed working on powered equipment and standing, bending, lifting.
• Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT, is valued.

Nice To Haves

• Previously forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately receiving and uploading trailers
• Physical breakdown of merchandise
• Building and stretch wrapping of pallets
• Shuttling merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas
• Loading of product into shipping trailers
• Coordinating inbound and outbound storage freight
• Sorting and distributing pallets to be utilized within the warehouse
• Using hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed
• Operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments
