Requirements

Comfortable and safe using basic hand tools.
Able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Communicates professionally with coworkers and leadership.

Nice To Haves

Trade background — trim carpentry, millwork, sheet metal, welding, cabinetry, or similar.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
Knowledge of manufacturing safety best practices.
Experience with the proper use of manufacturing tools and equipment.
Comfort with Microsoft Teams or similar communication platforms.

Responsibilities

Fabricate raw materials into finished products that meet our quality standards.
Read and work from manufacturing drawings.
Safely operate hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
Record production data using pitch charts and other tracking tools.
Flag issues and communicate problems using the Andon process.
Take part in daily Tier 1 meetings and quality circle discussions.
Keep an organized, clean work area following Lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
Work with teammates to hit production goals while continuously improving how we work.
Follow all company safety procedures, attendance expectations, and workplace policies.
