About The Position

Thermoid is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Team Members to support its manufacturing operations in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This role involves performing a variety of tasks across the production process, including mixing, milling, extrusion, finishing, packaging, and shipping of industrial hose products. Success requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and reliability. This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Strong reliability and work ethic
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends
• Ability to perform medium-duty work, including lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, lifting 25 lbs. frequently, and lifting 10 lbs. continuously
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Ability to push, pull, and handle materials throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior manufacturing or industrial experience
• Experience using measurement tools (OD tape, plug gauges, cutters, etc.)
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Operate and support equipment used in mixing and milling operations
• Operate and support equipment used in hose extrusion processes
• Operate and support equipment used in finishing and packaging
• Operate and support equipment used in shipping and loading
• Follow all Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards at all times
• Perform work in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Use basic math skills to accurately record and report production data
• Utilize equipment and hand tools accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Properly use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work collaboratively as part of a team-focused manufacturing environment
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
• Successfully complete forklift certification if applicable to position (training provided)
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail
• Follow all company policies and plant rules consistently
