About The Position

Continental Carbonic Products manufactures and distributes dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide through a network of strategically located distribution facilities. The company is hiring Manufacturing Team Members at its Clearfield, Pennsylvania plant to support productivity, product quality, and safety. Typical shifts are either 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m., working 3.5 days per week for 40 hours; exact workdays depend on shift assignment. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with a $2 per hour night-shift differential.

Requirements

• Able to frequently or continually lift 30 pounds while twisting, reaching, and bending.
• Able to stand for a 12-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work on a team.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Pack and wrap ice to meet customer specifications.
• Shovel and package dry ice during the manufacturing process.
• Label, strap, and stage dry ice for loading.
• Clean and sanitize large industrial containers.
• Operate forklifts safely.
• Perform general industrial housekeeping activities.
• Maintain safety for oneself and others.
• Observe 5S safety principles.
• Perform other manufacturing- or production-related duties as assigned.
