About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to develop competency in and perform basic assembly and/or inspection operations at Integer. The incumbent is expected to follow written procedures to meet production and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Develop competency in and perform basic assembly and/or inspection operations.
  • Follow written procedures to meet production and quality requirements.
  • Set up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI’s) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI’s).
  • Understand own tasks and how they relate to others on their team.
  • Work under close supervision, with duties clearly defined.
  • Follow Standard Work where applicable.
  • Assemble parts as per print.
  • Utilize both manual and automatic machine operation.
  • Visually and/or dimensionally inspect parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications.
  • Identify and escalate quality non-conformances.
  • Complete required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Package assemblies for shipment.
  • Participate in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Expand skill base through on-the-job training, cross-training, and classroom instruction.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Actively participate in “flex break” programs as required.
