Responsibilities

Supports daily coating-line operations by preparing materials, assisting with machine startup, and performing tasks such as moving rolls, lifting cores, troubleshooting line issues, and providing general support to the Coater Operator and Assistant throughout the shift.
Supports slitting, packaging, and material-handling operations by assisting the Finishing Operator and Assistant, maintaining steady workflow, preparing packaging, moving finished materials, and ensuring accurate labeling and inventory.
In specialized core-cutting roles, the Helper also cuts cores to customer specifications, maintains core inventory, produces labels, and supports all finishing activities as needed.
Performs equipment repair, troubleshooting, upgrades, and new installations throughout the facility, working from supervisor-assigned work orders and handling electrical tasks.
Supports all production areas, responds to breakdowns as needed, and maintains safe, efficient operation of plant machinery.
