About The Position
RJS Corporation is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee daily operations in our Paint, Assembly, and Wood Shop departments. This is a working leadership role where you'll lead by example, support production goals, maintain quality and safety standards, and help develop a high-performing team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience in assembly, painting, woodworking, fabrication, or related operations
- Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and production schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous Team Lead, Crew Lead, or Supervisory experience preferred
- ERP/MRP system experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across Paint, Assembly, and Wood Shop areas
- Assign work and coordinate production priorities
- Train and mentor employees on processes, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Monitor productivity, workflow, and quality performance
- Review work orders, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Ensure materials and work areas are production-ready
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
