About The Position

Under moderate supervision, this role assists with evaluating, configuring, documenting, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, training, and troubleshooting ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), or Operations Process Management (OPM) software systems. This includes all interfaced and integrated software applications and associated business processes. The position involves defining data and system requirements, developing interface and integration requirements, and authoring documentation such as requirements documents, conceptual design documents, and process maps. The role also supports the development of application concepts and designs, acceptance testing, user support, and the creation of training materials and user manuals. Additionally, it assists in the implementation of software upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality, while ensuring compliance with security guidelines and data governance activities. The position utilizes lean principles for process development and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering/Technology, Quality Management or a related curriculum, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven computer literacy with specific skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and MS Project.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • General understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and MES/OPM Systems.
  • Ability to work with database experts, systems users and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining data and system requirements.
  • Develop interface and integration requirements.
  • Assist in authoring requirements documents, conceptual design documents, and process maps.
  • Assist in developing application concepts and designs that meet user and business needs.
  • Assist in authoring acceptance test plans and conducting testing of new/revised functionality and software upgrades.
  • Assist users with questions, provide ad hoc education, and report technical issues to BT.
  • Assist in authoring user manuals specific to manufacturing software applications and associated interfaces.
  • Assist in developing training curriculum, training materials, workshop exercises, and conduct user training.
  • Assist the team in the implementation of software upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality.
  • Assist in oversight and enforcement of all applicable software security guidelines.
  • Assist in data management, mining, and governance activities within ERP, MES, or OPM systems.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of documented business processes and procedures.
  • Utilize lean principles in the development of future processes.
  • Ensure software applications and processes implemented are compliant with internal/external regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
