About The Position

Brooks is a leading provider of automation solutions with over 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, offering precision robotics, integrated automation systems, and contamination control solutions that empower chip manufacturers worldwide. Our product portfolio includes a range of automation solutions, including robots, vacuum systems, and atmospheric robots for semiconductor manufacturing. This is an onsite contract position based out of our Fremont, CA location.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, processes, or policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing operations related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final system assemblies.
  • Work with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting related to the manufacturing process.
  • Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
  • Determine or assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and/or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process.
  • Assist engineers in conducting experiments.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel and may lead or supervise activities within a team lead function.
  • Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
  • Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level and complexity.
