About The Position

As a full-time Manufacturing Support employee, you will support the daily operations of the facility and satellite facilities by helping estimate costs for custom fasteners, MRO, and OEM replacement parts. The position may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding and training are completed and performance goals are met. Fastenal describes itself as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies that has grown from one branch to more than 3,000 servicing locations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age due to the nature of the work.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Exhibit strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills.
Work independently as well as in a team environment.
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25–50 pounds and may weigh up to 100 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen where applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
