We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to support our contract manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is interested in learning end-to-end supply chain planning in a fast-paced production environment. You will help coordinate materials, production schedules, and customer demand to ensure on-time delivery for our manufacturing partners and clients.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing supply chain environment and/ or Supply Chain College degree.
• Regular attendance and promptness are required for this position.
• This job requires a high degree of teamwork.
• This job requires the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining production and material plans based on customer orders and forecasts
• Coordinate with manufacturing to track production schedules and order status
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess
• Coordinate with purchasing on order tracking
• Update planning data in ERP systems and maintain accurate records
• Identify potential supply or capacity issues and escalate as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics) to support customer commitments
• Generate basic reports on inventory, service levels, and order fulfillment
• Oversee inventory levels, aiming to maintain the right amount of stock to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
• Participate in planning merchandise production, ensuring that manufacturing activities align with demand forecasts and overall business goals.
• Handle budget-related issues related to inventory management, requiring them to make informed decisions to optimize costs and resources.
• Routine stock inspections and the ability to anticipate market changes are part of their responsibilities to adapt to dynamic business environments.
• Create inventory reports and present suggestions to supply chain managers or upper management, ensuring the business has actionable insights for decision-making.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
