About The Position

This on-site role is built for impact, focusing on connecting MRP signals to the shop floor, negotiating resin supply, and managing rail logistics. The position involves architecting supply chain plans to ensure smooth production, distribution, and finished-goods inventory flow without bottlenecks. It requires guaranteeing timely delivery of all production supplies through leading resin procurement, forecasting, and railroad support activities. Collaboration with Production and Asset Care to create schedules that drive compliance and on-time, in-full performance is key. The role also encompasses owning warehouse operations end-to-end, monitoring material consumption, partnering with Operations to close production variances, and acting as a liaison between Procurement, Operations, and IBP to maintain an actionable MRP process. Additionally, it involves supporting the monthly S&OP process with data and insights, writing and improving procedures, conducting distribution/network studies, meticulous record-keeping, coordinating logistics, championing safety and continuous improvement frameworks, and engaging/growing a team.

Responsibilities

Own the plan-to-ship cycle: align materials, schedules, and people so product flows reliably and cost-effectively.
Guarantee timely delivery of every production supply by leading resin procurement, forecasting, and railroad support activities.
Collaborate with Production and Asset Care to craft schedules that drive schedule compliance and on-time, in-full performance.
Own warehouse operations—scheduling, material handling, shipping, and receiving—end to end.
Monitor material consumption and partner with Operations to close production variances.
Act as the go-between for Procurement, Operations, and IBP to keep the MRP process tight and actionable.
Bolster the monthly S&OP cadence with data, insights, and cross-functional alignment.
Write and improve procedures, guidelines, and training that elevate quality while controlling cost.
Conduct distribution/network studies, translating inventory analysis into strategies that hit lead times and fill-rate goals.
Coordinate logistics with internal stakeholders and external customers to streamline inbound/outbound.
Champion safety, 6S, and food safety—leading weekly plant-wide Gemba walks.
Ensure compliance to quality systems, audit requirements, and the PEPS continuous improvement framework.
