About The Position

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor-1st Shift. This is a full time on-site position based at our Indianapolis, IN facility. The Manufacturing Supervisor (e-Reman) is responsible for the successful execution of maintaining and supervising the overall electronics/mechatronics remanufacturing department. Duties focus on achieving production builds and key metrics, supervision of hourly employees, monitoring equipment readiness/maintenance, material availability, quality focus, continuous improvement activities, and approval/monitoring of new/current remanufacturing processes being implemented on the floor for the e-Reman products.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum three (3) years experience managing hourly associates in a manufacturing environment
  • Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Indianapolis, IN to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in the field of Manufacturing / Engineering Technology
  • Experience hiring, training, and managing hourly associates
  • Experience on OEM Electronics Remanufacturing programs that include supervisory management
  • Oracle or similar ERP experience
  • Bilingual – Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily Electronics Remanufacturing operations, including staffing, production scheduling, cost management, and attainment of key operational metrics.
  • Lead, train, coach, and develop hourly employees while fostering a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure equipment readiness through effective planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, minimizing downtime, and maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, safety procedures, and OSHA standards to provide a safe and productive work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain operational records, including training documentation, performance evaluations, and risk assessments, while ensuring process compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity, quality, delivery performance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, resolve operational issues, and ensure successful execution of remanufacturing processes and customer requirements.
