About The Position

The Manufacturing Supervisor will lead a cross-trained crew to execute day-to-day manufacturing tasks safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. This role involves providing day-to-day leadership, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork, and ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality compliance across machining, assembly, tool-and-die, and packaging functions. The supervisor will also manage recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions for subordinate employees, while coordinating multi-functional manufacturing activities and driving process improvements.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or lead-role experience overseeing multi-skill teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret (or higher) security clearance; current clearance preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Must have good conflict-resolution skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints and interpret/translate instructions to mechanics / technicians.
