About The Position

AMBAC International is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead CNC machining, grinding, and honing operations in Elgin, South Carolina. This hands-on leadership role focuses on strengthening the team, maintaining consistent quality, and supporting efficient, organized production. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. AMBAC describes its culture as people-first and grounded in servant leadership, and the company is employee-owned and open-book managed.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
A steady, supportive leadership style with good listening and problem-solving skills.
Comfort working in a structured, results-focused, team-based environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience with metal CNC machining, grinding, or honing.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement.
Technical or associate degree.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of CNC machinists, grinders, and technicians.
Monitor daily performance and support safe, accurate, and efficient work.
Train, coach, and mentor employees using standard processes and quality practices.
Collaborate across departments to support scheduling and workflow.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment with strong 5S discipline.
Support continuous improvement using Lean and Great Game principles.
Represent AMBAC’s culture and values consistently and with care.
