About The Position

ADVICS is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join its leadership team during a period of continued growth. Supervisors are encouraged to develop improvement ideas and carry them through to implementation. This opening is for the evening shift, 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.; overtime may be required. The supervisor manages 20–30 Production Operators and supports production performance, employee development, safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience; automotive experience is preferred.
• Experience with structured problem-solving methods and techniques.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate the development of individual team members’ skills and abilities.
• Ability to ensure adherence to standard work procedures and company policy.

Nice To Haves

• A 2-year or 4-year college degree is preferred.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20–30 Production Operators, including scheduling, performance reviews, training, and development.
• Meet production schedules and address abnormal conditions.
• Make timely, impactful decisions concerning safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Continuously improve processes and encourage the team to do the same.
• Interact frequently with team members to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and 5S conditions are maintained and understood.
