Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND seven (7) combined years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Manufacturing, Quality and/or Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environment
  • OR
  • High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) combined years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Nine (9) years of Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Supply Chain experience
  • One (1) year of supervision/people leadership experience
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders through verbal discussions, presentations, and written communications.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision to hourly production employees.
  • Inspire integrity by upholding and complying with Solventum policies and guidelines.
  • Provide leadership for assigned operations by fostering cross-functional teamwork and communicating goals of the organization to employees.
  • Review production issues with the quality and engineering teams and use available resources to resolve process, maintenance, equipment and related technical problems.
  • Determine priorities daily, allocate work assignments, communicate expectations, and monitor workflow.
  • Review department expenses, overtime hours, and scrap and yield loss to recommend cost savings programs.
  • Conduct department crew meetings to review team performance and celebrate successes.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide necessary coaching, feedback and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities and area project work.
  • Willingness to work off shift and to be on call during weekends as needed by the manufacturing teams.
  • Complete administrative activities such as time reporting, attendance control and vacation planning.
  • Corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
