Pressroom - Manufacturing Supervisor
About The Position
The Manufacturing Supervisor will provide daily leadership and direction to manufacturing teams, including crewing assignments, performance expectations, coaching, and issue resolution. This role champions a strong safety and quality culture through behavior-based observations, routine process checks, and proactive corrective actions. The supervisor monitors production throughout the shift and works directly with operators to troubleshoot issues, remove barriers, and maximize productivity and efficiency. They partner with department leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence, and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on improving safety, quality, efficiency, and overall performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing, production, or similar fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement practices and identifying opportunities to improve processes and performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to set expectations and hold teams accountable.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions in a production environment.
- A flexible, proactive, hands-on leadership style with the ability to build relationships and work effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
