Requirements

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience as a senior Team Leader or supervisor.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and leadership abilities to handle difficult situations and conflicts.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Foundry experience is highly desired but not required.
  • Exceptional change management skills to positively coach and motivate teams beyond the status quo.
  • Experience enforcing quality management systems compliant with ISO standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in safety improvements by building a culture of safety, coaching and modeling safe behaviors, respecting the environment, and promoting 6S behaviors.
  • Perform accident and incident investigations to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Participate in Lean events focused on process management and safety.
  • Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to support Lean Manufacturing principles within the facility.
  • Lead the daily manufacturing operations in Melting and Finishing departments, coordinating manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital to minimize costs and meet production targets.
  • Develop, maintain, and assist with advanced ESCO quality systems, procedures, and practices.
  • Ensure adherence to product standards and quality management systems compliant with ISO and ESCO Business Systems.
  • Act as a coach and mentor by developing team members, leading problem-solving initiatives, and fostering a positive morale and culture within the team.
  • Conduct regular audits and weekly observations to ensure compliance with standards and continuous improvement.
