About The Position

The Manufacturing Coordinator works with building management, production planning, purchasing, production floor and logistics throughout the manufacturing organization. This position is responsible for the continual assessment of manufacturing processes to ensure teams operate with efficiency and quality that meets our client’s needs. This role will support D365 system data to ensure the proper information has been input, updated and completed to process the work.

Requirements

  • Ability to navigate within D365 or other ERP / MRP operating systems

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years lead/experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience providing daily work directions to hourly/shift workers
  • Experience within ERP or MRP operating systems
  • Fluid usage of Microsoft Office Products
  • Forklift certified, or ability to obtain forklift operating certificate

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 2 year technical/business degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of production schedule, production priorities and system data
  • Reviews released production orders and shares work instruction to departments to execute
  • Assists departments with production floor execution to ensure projects are correctly executing through D365
  • Troubleshoots missing parts, conflicting information, purchasing delivery dates, QA Inspection(s)
  • Works directly with the building manager to report “real time” production status
  • Responsible for communicating production challenges and part shortages to project management teams quickly and efficiently
  • Able to process Purchase Requisitions, Warehouse Transfers and Operate within D365 operating system
  • Assists with documenting and communicating redlines and manufacturing processes with both the project management team, building manager, engineering and the different departments within the organization
  • Performs other duties as assigned
