About The Position
This position is responsible for producing quality tubing by ensuring established production goals are met, adhering to safety guidelines, and keeping work areas clean. All Manufacturing Specialists are responsible for cultivating an environment that is physically and emotionally safe for all employees.
Requirements
- Mathematical, reading and writing abilities necessary.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude helpful.
- Ability to read and interpret specification sheets helpful.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring tube is cut to correct length (ID and OD).
- Transferring, cutting, chamfering, inspecting, loading & unloading tube.
- Performing changeover of machine specifications to adjust sizing of tubing according to customer’s order.
- Operating gage and tooling controls.
- Identifying and recording problems and initiating resolution.
- Continuous visual inspection of tube for scratches, cracks, rust, dirt & oil.
- Adhering to safety guidelines; keeping work area clean.
