About The Position

American Tube and Pipe is looking for an End Table Operator to assist with the manufacturing of tubes and pipes in their mill. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring product quality, and preparing materials for shipment and storage.

Requirements

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
1 plus years of experience in manufacturing
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Valid driver's license issued in the employing state and good driving record.

Responsibilities

Inspect table operation equipment and prepare for use.
Adjust the bundling cart to accommodate the size and length of pipe to be run.
Manually assist the pipe as it rolls down the end-table towards the cart.
Observe for bows in longer length pipe and bounce pipe on table if necessary to straighten the pipe.
As bundle is being formed, align and straighten the tube rows using the back stop.
After bundle is completed in the rack, place bands around the bundle and tighten using the Air Bander.
Notify forklift operator when cart needs to be emptied.
Use the banding machine to prepare pipes for shipment and storage.
Wash used forming and sizing rolls and put into appropriate storage bin when changing out rolls between changes in rolls.
May be required to operate a forklift.
