About The Position

Spartronics is seeking career-minded individuals for the manufacturing and assembly of critical components for Aerospace, Defense, Medical, and Commercial applications. This entry-level role, Manufacturing Specialist I - Machine, is responsible for supporting basic machine operations such as wave solder, wash, coating/touch up, and de-panel. The position operates under close supervision and follows established procedures to ensure quality and safety within a fully air-conditioned facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.
Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Manual dexterity to handle boards, tools, and fixtures.
Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Work in ESD-controlled and machine operation environments.
Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing or machine operation environment.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).
Basic mechanical aptitude or technical coursework.

Responsibilities

Operate basic machine processes including wave solder, wash, and machine coating under supervision.
Load and unload boards, fixtures, and assemblies safely into machines.
Inspect completed work for obvious defects and report issues promptly.
Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance tasks on assigned machines.
Follow standard work instructions and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.
