About The Position

This 12-week internship is based at the company’s Gaithersburg, Maryland site and runs from May 24, 2027, to August 13, 2027. The intern will participate in the group’s digitalization efforts, maintain task-tracking resources, and develop an automated process flow diagram for introducing new campaigns using existing tools. The position requires onsite attendance three days per week. Relocation assistance and CPT support are not provided. Compensation is $37–$39 per hour.

Requirements

• Be a rising junior or senior studying Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Have an expected graduation date after August 2027.
• Have US work authorization at the time of application.
• Be able to report onsite to the Gaithersburg, MD site three days per week.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of cGMP manufacturing practice.
• Intermediate exposure to Excel, Visio, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
• Intermediate coding skills, such as Python, C++, or Java, and experience with API data retrieval or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Participate in digitalization efforts within the group.
• Update the daily task tracker and campaign task tracker, and create the associated team matrix.
• Create an automated process flow diagram for new campaign introduction using existing tools.
