This role focuses on SAP Manufacturing Architecture, requiring strong business acumen in Discrete Manufacturing (IM&C) and Mills (Metals value chain), with bilingual Spanish/English capabilities. The role involves significant delivery/billable activities including Integration/Solution/Chief Architect, Advisory, and spot consulting, acting as a trusted advisor. A key part of the role is supporting Sales & Presales and Go-To-Market strategies, including sales enablement, events, webinars, and SAP and Partner relationships. The Manufacturing Solution Architect will act as an Integration Architect, coordinating teams through all phases of systems implementations, upgrades, or migrations, ensuring solution integrity and client flow adherence.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or software engineering.
• At least 15 years of experience with SAP Implementations in Manufacturing, especially in IM&C and Mills (Metals Value Chain) sub-industries, with experience of S/4HANA.
• Participated in pre-sales activities, blue printing/Explore/Fit to standard and integration activities.
• A strong business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
• Strong business acumen and expertise in Discrete Manufacturing (IM&C) and Mills (Metals value chain).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).
• At least 15 years with strong expertise in PP/QM/MM/SD.
• Good expertise in Supply Chain, PM, FICO (Product costing).

Responsibilities

• Act as Integration Architect (=BT Solution or Chief Architect) responsible for coordinating and directing teams of business analysts, functional analysts, and developers in all phases of systems implementations, upgrades or migrations.
• Manage advisor consultants in the choice of solutions and tools supporting their respective scope.
• Ensure the integrity and integration of the solution components retained in adherence to the 'business' scope.
• Identify the integration points and integrity of the end-to-end client flow in the intended solution.
• Assist functional consultants in the definition and construction of the solution in preparation for Fit to Standard workshops.
• Support workshops and 'challenge' the 'gaps', as well as solutions proposed to 'gaps'.
• Execute the 'check' scope.
• Support sprints and their content.
• Help Sales & Presales.
• Support our GoToMarket: installed base and net new xxx (industry) public cloud (sales enablement, events, webinars, SAP and Partners relationship).
