Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical or Industrial Engineering majors preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • This position is not open to visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Streamline material staging and set-ups for production jobs.
  • Improve shop scheduling using SAP.
  • Deliverables with accurate dispatch lists, scheduling Tool using SAP data extracts and two Lean setup reduction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate materials, tooling, and Lean improvements to support shop production.
  • Manage shop scheduling and work on improved visibility with SAP reports.
  • Liaise with Product Quality Specialists on Non-conformance tracking and resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.
