About The Position

KMM Group is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to support our precision manufacturing operation in Hatboro, PA. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes order, accuracy, movement, and momentum. You will help materials, components, outside service work, certifications, and finished parts move through the building and out to customers with the kind of care that precision manufacturing demands. At KMM, shipping and receiving is not “just warehouse work.” It is one of the final checkpoints between our shop floor and the aerospace, medical device, defense, space, and high-tech customers who rely on our parts.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, packing slips, shipping documents, and receiving paperwork
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or production environment
  • Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or have a valid Green Card

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, inventory, or material handling
  • Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, ERP systems, barcode scanning, inventory systems, or shipping software
  • Forklift experience or forklift certification
  • Experience handling certifications, packing slips, purchase orders, and customer documentation
  • Lean manufacturing or 5S experience
  • Experience supporting precision manufacturing, CNC machining, grinding, EDM, inspection, or production operations

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials, purchased parts, outside service work, and customer-supplied components
  • Verify counts, packing slips, certifications, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
  • Process receipts in the company ERP system
  • Package, label, and prepare outgoing shipments for customers, suppliers, and outside processors
  • Use shipping systems such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and other carrier platforms
  • Scan, file, and organize certifications, packing slips, and receiving records
  • Maintain shipping supplies, packaging materials, and department inventory
  • Help ensure accurate movement of materials through production and inspection
  • Move materials, components, and finished parts throughout the manufacturing facility
  • Support production workflow between departments including Quality, Operations, Machining, Grinding, EDM, and Project Management
  • Operate a forklift as needed, with training available
  • Perform local company van deliveries as needed
  • Assist with inventory control, material handling, staging, and organization
  • Follow quality, safety, and documentation procedures in an ITAR-registered manufacturing environment
  • Greet customers, suppliers, drivers, and visitors entering the facility
  • Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, safe, and organized
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams about deliveries, documentation, shortages, and shipment priorities
  • Support on-time delivery by helping materials move where they need to go
