What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day) As a Senior Design Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of new product development—turning concepts into high-performing, manufacturable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 5–10+ years of design engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Experience in HVAC systems, refrigeration, or air movement products
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials, and product design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes (preferred)
  • Experience with prototype testing, root cause analysis, and product validation

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to new product development (NPD) projects from concept through launch
  • Design and model components and assemblies using SolidWorks (3D CAD)
  • Develop innovative HVAC product designs focused on performance, cost, and manufacturability
  • Apply engineering analysis and testing to validate and improve designs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, materials, and product teams
  • Facilitate design reviews and present concepts and solutions
  • Create detailed drawings and documentation aligned with engineering standards
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and continuous design improvements
  • Identify root causes of design issues and implement effective solutions
  • Research and integrate new components, materials, and technologies
