About The Position

Reads orders, gathers ordered materials/doors, reads/interpret tickets, pull, clean, and install glass inserts according to customer order(s). Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma required
Must be able to read/interpret tickets
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service
Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written
Door and glass knowledge
Common power tool operation
Basic cleaning knowledge
Operate hot gun, caulk gun and pneumatic screw gun
Use of small hand tools, basic math and reading a tape measure

Nice To Haves

Strong knowledge of door types preferred
Moderate knowledge of door/customer quality specs, pull placards and load list details
1-2 years in a manufacturing environment, preferred
