About The Position

Groton Pipe Fitting is seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to support operational excellence and improve first-time quality within the Operations directorate. The successful candidate will support Department 243 Operations with first-time quality issues and other operational items.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of Electric Boat experience in a trades, operations, or planning capacity.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Documentation skills.
• Reporting and analysis skills.
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of EB Homeport and Procedure Gateway.
• Knowledge and experience with test forms and audit reports.

Nice To Haves

• Former pipe-fitting experience.

Responsibilities

• Support supervisors with writing and maintaining test forms.
• Support responses to quality items such as audit reports and CARs.
• Support the development of self-assessment reports.
• Research new equipment and tooling identified by the Operations team.
• Develop new and maintain existing procedures in Procedure Gateway, including TSOs, SDDs, and MDDs.
• Help develop and maintain training road maps.
