About The Position

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business segment of Element Solutions Inc (NYSE: ESI), is seeking a Manufacturing Relationship Manager – Plant IT to support a growing business unit within our Electronics business segment. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing operations and digital technology operations, directly impacting on the performance, reliability, and compliance of a highly complex, business‑critical production site. As the Manufacturing Relationship Manager, you act as the primary IT partner for site leadership, ensuring that manufacturing technology needs are clearly understood, strategically prioritized, and effectively delivered. You will work closely with plant management, supply chain functions, and global IT teams to define and execute a plant‑level manufacturing IT strategy aligned with ESI’s global standards while addressing the specific demands of a large‑scale, high‑volume, regulated manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Process Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 7 years of technical experience, including 5+ years in IT business partnership roles in a manufacturing environment.
  • OR experience: 5–8 years in IT service management, with at least 3 years in a management position.
  • Extensive IT leadership experience in business partnering, service delivery, and program management
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to engage and influence senior business leaders
  • Strong quantitative skills to interpret data and create decision-supporting reports/models.
  • Solid understanding of large‑scale manufacturing operations and supporting digital ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into effective, scalable IT solutions.
  • Experience working in cross‑functional and multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and root‑cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main IT interface for the Manufacturing Plant
  • Understand key financial, operational, and performance drivers and ensure IT initiatives support these objectives.
  • Advocate for value-driven digital solutions that enhance safety, quality, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Execute the global digitalization strategies
  • Define, own, and continuously evolve the manufacturing IT strategy and roadmap for the plant.
  • Balance global IT standardization with local manufacturing needs in a complex production environment.
  • Partner with IT delivery teams to prioritize initiatives, manage scope, and ensure reliable execution.
  • Actively promote the “art of the possible” by identifying how digital technologies can unlock manufacturing value.
  • Support operational teams by applying structured analysis and problem-solving to critical technology and process issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, productivity, and compliance.
  • Participate in audits and ensure IT solutions fully support SOX requirements.
  • Drive improvements through performance reviews, continual improvement, and action follow-up.
  • Be an active member of both the manufacturing leadership community and the IT teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on manufacturing‑related digital solutions.
  • Foster strong collaboration across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and IT teams.
  • Build strong relationships across the plant while maintaining alignment with global IT stakeholders
