About The Position

As an IT business relationship advisor, you support IT efficiency. You design, configure, administer, maintain and upgrade computer networks, management systems and database servers based on the organization's needs. You advise and assist clients and partners on key initiatives related to incident prevention, corrective action, IT infrastructure updates, rollout and post-rollout. You propose solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization's objectives and priorities. You help solve complex problems. You use your analytical skills and detailed knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as a resource person for your unit, clients and partners. We're looking for an organized, independent professional.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Proficiency in ITIL processes, particularly regarding incident and problem management
  • Knowledge of the information technology sector
  • Available 24/7 as an on-call advisor with pay

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose development teams' issues, challenges and needs on medium- to high-complexity correction requests, IT services and the rollout and post-rollout phases to determine target outcomes.
  • Develop and implement objectives, processes, methods, development tools, solutions and action plans.
  • Coordinate the delivery of IT solutions.
  • Analyze data.
  • Conduct studies.
  • Make recommendations.
  • Write reports.
  • Serve as an IT resource person for the business sectors we serve.
  • Handle major incidents when required, determine business impacts and coordinate activities with business representatives.
  • Document all IT services and applications.
  • Provide support to the business sector on strategic, operational and project initiatives.
  • Help report and monitor the sector's performance and stability indicators.
  • Represent the business sector on projects, initiatives and IT calls.
  • Help management define a culture of stability and promote it to IT officers and business sectors.
