The North Berwick Repair Operations site has a unique opportunity for a dual-role Engineer to support our Alternate Work Week shift operations. This person in this role will sharpen and leverage skills in both Quality & Manufacturing Engineering and have tremendous career opportunities for professional development and career growth. As a key member of the weekend support team, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and regulatory standards while working alongside experienced professionals who are committed to mentoring and developing future aerospace leaders. This role provides outstanding opportunities for technical growth, cross-functional collaboration, and long-term career advancement within Pratt & Whitney. This position reports directly to the site’s Quality Manager and supports our Alternate Work Week schedule. Typical working hours are 6:00AM – 6:30PM, Friday through Sunday. Comprehensive training is available and may be required on first shift for up to six months to ensure you are fully prepared for success. Flexibility may be required to support other shifts, training needs, or workflow demands, including overtime. Pratt & Whitney's North Berwick, Maine facility is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
