The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will assess compliance to workmanship standards and work instructions, analyze production workflows to identify inefficiencies, defects, and opportunities for process improvement. This role involves designing and implementing process controls, inspection criteria, and statistical process control (SPC) methods to reduce variability and improve yield. The engineer will also develop, document, and maintain manufacturing workmanship standards, process procedures, work instructions, and quality plans. Additionally, they will develop and maintain process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) documentation, monitor key quality metrics, and lead cross-functional root cause analysis investigations. Collaboration with Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain teams is essential to ensure process capability aligns with product specifications. The role also involves sharing best practices across facilities and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
