Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on quality experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Working knowledge of quality management tools — inspection, auditing, corrective action, and documentation
  • Ability to develop and implement straightforward testing and inspection processes independently
  • Strong written communication skills — report writing and quality documentation are regular responsibilities
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities without close supervision
  • U.S. work authorization required — no sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred — equivalent direct experience considered
  • AS9100D or ISO 9001 experience — aerospace or defense environment preferred
  • Familiarity with military or aerospace manufacturing standards
  • Internal auditor certification or equivalent quality credentials
  • Experience supporting both quality and engineering functions in a small company setting

Responsibilities

  • Performing quality inspections and in-process sampling to ensure product and process compliance
  • Developing and documenting practical testing and inspection processes to support production and engineering
  • Identifying areas for quality improvement and driving corrective action to completion
  • Reviewing and updating quality policies and procedures against current standards
  • Supporting AS9100D / ISO 9001 quality system maintenance, documentation, and internal audits
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Partnering directly with engineering and operations to support program execution and quality outcomes
