Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector- Level 3
About The Position
Tindall Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector to conduct pre-pour and post-pour inspections and help ensure concrete members meet tolerances specified by shop cards and PCI. The position performs concrete testing, witnesses stressing, and establishes adequate curing controls. Employees are expected to follow all safety and quality rules and processes to support a safe working environment and the production of high-quality products. The inspector checks bed setup against shop drawings, including reinforcement, strands, plate locations, and structural connections. The role also monitors finishing procedures, inspects finished products, documents nonconformances, and coordinates engineering approval or repair work as needed. Ideal candidates will have PCI/ACI certification.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Inspect bed setup according to shop drawings for correct dimensions and placement of reinforcement, strands, plates, and structural connections.
- Document nonconforming items and notify the appropriate personnel so the product can be brought into conformance.
- Perform concrete testing, including slump, unit weight, air content, release-cylinder, and 28-day-cylinder tests.
- Set up steam clocks to ensure proper curing temperatures.
- Monitor finishing procedures in the finishing shed.
- Inspect finished products and notify the Engineering Department of nonconformances for approval or repair work orders.
- Apply green tags to conforming products and red tags to nonconforming products requiring engineering approval.
- Reinspect repaired red-tagged members to ensure they meet Engineering's requirements.
- Prepare and submit in writing all nonconformances requiring engineering approval.
- Follow safety and quality rules and processes.
