About The Position

We’re currently looking for a Quality Assurance Professional to join our team and play a critical part in our daily operations. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for inspecting customer parts, components, and assemblies throughout the manufacturing facility, ensuring they meet customer specifications and design prints.

Requirements

Proven ability to readily recognize detailed accuracy of parts, components, or assemblies
Ability to read customer drawings and/or prints
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both oral and written
Reading comprehension - ability to follow Work Instructions and/or written/spoken instructions
Safe, efficient forklift operations after successful completion of Pomp’s Forklift Training
Ability to work overtime as required due to business demands
Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and reach without difficult repeatedly during work shift
Ability to maintain a balanced mix of physical labor and forklift operation, with approximately 50% of the time spent on forklift tasks and the other 50% on physically demanding activities
Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 pounds regularly

Previous Warehouse Shipping Operations experience helpful

Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of daily domestic and international shipments as specified by customer packaging requirements
Assisting in documenting all found NCP (Non-Conforming Products)
Minor rework and/or repair of damaged or NCP products and/or assemblies
Adherence to all applicable OSHA, Pomp’s and facility standards/rules/regulations
Rack / Skid sorting and placement into the proper holding area(s)
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Additional tasks as assigned by manager
